Rumahnya ini membutuhkan waktu sekitar 20 tahun untuk dibangun. Reuters menyampaikan bahwa Lhota yang kini berusia 73 tahun, memulai membangunnya pada tahun 1981.

Mungkin akan butuh waktu agak lama untuk menyelesaikannya, tetapi dengan mengikutsertakan tanggung jawab lingkungan dalam pembangunannya, rumah ini menawarkan perspektif baru."
